SUPA Foundation is a Fantom-based GameFi and DeFi platform that facilitates a unique metaverse, utility token, and NFT collection.

The concept of the metaverse is still in its infancy, and many blockchain platforms are trying to establish a standard for the industry ー a bold goal they are struggling to achieve. But there’s one promising platform that offers a glimpse of how a metaverse, or a decentralized platform in general, should look like.

Background

SUPA Foundations’ main pillars are Brian Ng (CEO, CTO), Andy Lim (CTO), and Princeton Fam (Digital marketing and strategist), which all share the same passion for innovative tech solutions.

With their dynamic backgrounds, they proactively combined their expertise to create a platform that can provide an immersive metaverse and multiple income generator for players all over the world.

What is SUPA Foundation?

SUPA Foundation is a Fantom-based GameFi and decentralized finance (DeFi) platform that facilitates a unique metaverse, utility token, and NFT collection.

These offerings aim to establish an industry standard to bring the best benefits to SUPA and the blockchain community.

SUPA Token

SUPA Token is the platform’s utility token and can be used to buy SUPACell and Viruses and initiate Fusion mechanics, which are components of its metaverse that will all be discussed later.

SUPACell and Viruses NFT Collection

The SUPA Cells and Viruses are algorithmically-generated NFTs, and each contains 5,000 characters, making them a 10,000 NFT collection.

Both of them are equipped with rarity features that give the community and the investors a chance to generate new NFTs that would create greater value. These NFTs will be the main asset that players must use to participate in SUPA’s card game, called ‘Internal Conflict’  to battle opponents and earn more rewards.

SUPAVerse And Its Components

SUPAVerse is the platform’s own metaverse which brings players to a post-apocalyptic Earth invaded by a mutated version of the Coronavirus.

The metaverse isn’t finished yet as it will continue to expand along with its storyline, and the best part is, that the community will have direct involvement in it. It will also have a collectible series of NFT comics created by various digital artists, giving the community another set of fresh assets to have.

Quests

Quests are available activities within the metaverse that players can participate in to acquire items, which then can be traded in exchange for SUPA tokens or character customization.

Future quests in SUPAVerse that players must expect are gardening, salvaging, crafting, and construction.

Customization and Chatting

The SUPAVerse UI allows players to customize important elements such as characters, experience, and even inventory.

For players who do not want to see the UI icon every time, they have the option to hide it whenever they want.

And also, like any other game, players can communicate with each other through a chatbox, which, as every gamer knows, makes any game more exciting.

Various Ways to Earn

SUPAVerse has prepared multiple ways for players to earn, expand their assets, and above all, enjoy each game it offers.

SUPA tokens can be traded with other tokens, which can provide profits for players or diversify their assets. Also, SUPAVerse allows users to deposit or redeem tokens in the form of ERC20 and ERC721 tokens.

NPCs or Non-Playable Characters would also have an important role in the metaverse as they will provide text-based cues and text-based quests to reward players with tokens.

SUPACell and Virus holder also has the ability to farm ‘Mutations Points’ that would enable them to buy ‘pods’ containing NFT cards.

SUPAVerse’s card game allows players to sell their customized card deck in the secondary market for additional profits.

Marketplace

The Marketplace is designed to fully support the SUPA token, which will be used to buy valuable assets such as SUPACells, Viruses, Pods, upgradable cards, and cosmetics.

Farming In-Game Items

Soon, players will be given the opportunity to stake their SUPA tokens to gain loyalty points and have a chance to acquire exclusive in-game items.

Mutation Points

Mutation points can be acquired through SUPACell and Viruses by participating in the NFT farming.

One important reminder here is that the acquired mutation points are not resaleable but can be used to redeem Card Packs, which are contained in ‘Pods.’

‘Internal Conflict’ NFT Game

Internal Conflict is a turn-based 2D NFT P2E card game that brings players to a gridded battlefield where their main weapons are their customized card decks. The game features three game modes, which are ‘Unranked Play,’ ‘Ranked Play’ and ‘Tournaments.’

Players can control either an NFT Virus or a SUPACell, depending on what they’ve bought, and they may also control both if they purchased both a Virus and a SUPACell.

Virus players handle a virus character with a diminishing health level while in the battle and they must beat their SUPACell opponent before their health goes to zero.

SUPACell players, meanwhile, must aim to defend themselves from attacks until the Virus’ health level runs out.

SUPAVerse World

The SupaVerse world has five major areas that players can explore: ‘The Command Center,’ ‘The Lab,’ ‘The SUPA Lounge,’ ‘The Engineering Bay,’ ‘The Botanical Chamber,’ and ‘the Lodging.’

One quick note: Players can interact with all NPCs and objects found in these five areas to acquire items and finish quests.

Now, let’s take a look at the top 3 areas that players can explore.

Command Center

The Command center is an area where players can interact with NPCs from the SUPAVerse story to accomplish quests and follow the curated story from the official Discord channel to the SUPAVerse website.

Also, in this place, players can discover valuable information about the SUPA Foundation simply by interacting with the in-game computers and screens.

The Lab

The Lab is the area where players can interact with the laboratory’s petri dish to unlock the main game called ‘Internal Conflict’, which will be discussed in detail later.

Also, players can bring their liquidity pairs, or ‘Specimen’ in SUPA’s term, in this area, leave it to the in-house ‘Microbiologist,’ and earn SUPA token rewards afterward.

Aside from the profits that players can earn from the ‘Internal Conflict’ main game and Specimen, the Lab also offers another source of valuable assets.

By interacting with a character called “Synthesizer,” players can synthesize items that will then give them ‘Vitamins’ that can boost their stats.

The SUPA Lounge

The SUPA Lounge is a literal digital lounge where the SUPA Foundation community and builders gather together to exchange ideas and build strong relationships.

What’s even great is that, just by interacting with SUPA Lounge NPCs, players can easily earn weekly tokens as their interaction boosts their social activity.

SUPA’s decentralized exchange (DEX) is also located in this area where a Token Pairs dealer can be found so that players can create their pairs and bring them to the SUPAverse’s ‘Microbiologist’ to earn rewards.

Conclusion

SUPA Foundation’s balanced focus on its community, metaverse, P2E games, and NFT collection is a lesson that other blockchain platforms should take note of.

And while this balanced approach may not guarantee a dominant position in the industry, it’s a sustainable solution that can keep SUPA a competitive platform in the long run.
